Welcoming locations in convenient places
Our locations are carefully selected based on their character and strategic positioning. For example, we opened our very first daycare in a convenient location for working parents, right in the heart of the World Fashion Center in Amsterdam. Some of our after-school care locations are based within primary school buildings. And while in Voorburg we transformed a former church into a unique childcare location, in Enschede a characteristic town villa has been converted into a spacious childcare setting with warm and inviting rooms.
We believe it is important that you and your child feel at home with us. That is why our locations are bright and warmly designed, using neutral colours and natural materials. For parents, there is a comfortable coffee corner, and many daycare locations offer a private space for breastfeeding or expressing milk, as well as a place to leave your pram. This way, your day can start in a relaxed way, after dropping off your child with peace of mind.

Your partner in parenting
Parenting is something we do together. That’s why we stay in close contact with parents and use daily handover moments to share how things are going. This allows us to respond as well as possible to your child’s needs and ensure consistency between home and childcare.
To support parents as well as possible and involve them in what happens at our locations each day, we use a Parent Portal. Through a convenient app, we keep you up to date with photos and a digital journal, so you can follow your child’s development and the experiences they have with us. You can also use the parent portal to find important information and submit requests related to your child’s care.
At CompaNanny, we have a lot of experience and expertise in parenting and child development, and we are happy to share this with as many parents as possible.
That’s why we organise webinars, and regularly share newsletters and blogs on topics that are relevant to parents. We also have our own podcast (in Dutch), where we answer parents’ questions about parenting and child development. A dedicated parenting support service, created for all parents who sometimes feel overwhelmed by the many different pieces of advice out there.
Healthy (hot) meals for your child
To function well, you need fresh and varied nutrition every day, especially while growing up. That’s why we believe it is important to offer children healthy and nutritious meals and snacks.
From the age of 9 months, your child receives a healthy hot lunch at our daycare, provided by Moekes Maaltijd and prepared using mostly organic ingredients. These meals are specially developed for children, contain all essential nutrients and are carefully portioned, ensuring your child eats well and gets everything they need.
Throughout the day, we give extra attention to shared mealtimes. This helps your child develop healthy eating habits and ensures they receive the nutrients they need for healthy development. Experience shows that the earlier children are introduced to a variety of flavours, the more varied and healthy their eating habits will be later on. And as the saying goes: “Children learn by example.”

Childcare that fits your needs
We understand that life as a parent can sometimes be quite hectic. That is why our locations offer extended opening hours.
At a number of our Daycare and After-school care locations, we also offer extended childcare between 6.30 pm and 7.00 pm. This helps you avoid having to rush in the morning or evening when dropping off or picking up your child. Much more relaxed.
Our Daycare and After-school care are also open throughout the school holidays.
For After-school care, we offer a varied holiday programme full of fun and challenging themed activities. That way, you can also bring your child to us during the holidays with complete peace of mind.
Flexible childcare
Do you need flexibility, for example due to a changing or irregular work schedule?
At CompaNanny Schiphol Centre, we offer flexible childcare. Convenient if you pass by on your way to work or if you work at Schiphol yourself. With our monthly flexible contract, you choose a fixed minimum number of hours that you can schedule yourself each month. Bilingual childcare
Are you an expat or part of an international family? At a number of our Daycare locations in Amsterdam, Amstelveen and The Hague, we offer bilingual groups. Here, we support children’s language development by speaking both Dutch and English, and we pay extra attention to different cultures. Each bilingual group always has both a Dutch-speaking and an English-speaking Childcare Professional present. These groups are suitable for children aged 0 to 4.
We currently offer bilingual childcare at the following locations:
- In Amstelveen: Amsterdamseweg and Texelstraat
- In Amsterdam: WFC (West), Atlas Arena (South-East) and Zuidas (South)
- In The Hague: Benoordenhout and Archipel.

CompaNanny stands for the quality we provide every day, not only to the children but also to you as a parent. That is why we value your feedback on our childcare and services.
In addition to our daily handover moments, you can share your experiences through, for example, our biannual customer satisfaction survey. This allows us to gather valuable feedback and continuously improve our services and quality.
Because we place great importance on parent involvement, each CompaNanny location has its own Parent Advisory Committee (‘OAC’ in Dutch). This group of parents shares ideas and provides advice on topics directly related to the childcare, such as our pedagogical policy.
We also involve parents in other ways. For example, by inviting you to read to the children, and to take part in workshops and other activities. This allows you as a parent to actively contribute to the quality of our childcare. Together we create a warm, safe and trusted environment for your child.
