The registration process

The registration process

Registering your child with CompaNanny is simple, non-binding, and free of charge. Using our online registration form, you can sign up your child(ren) at the location of your choice. The registration is completely free and without obligation, so you’re not committed to anything yet.

How does it work?

  1. Fill in the registration form > You complete the registration form, providing details such as your preferred type of childcare, location, days of care, start date, and your contact information.

  2. Receive a confirmation > Once you’ve submitted the form, you will immediately receive a confirmation by email.

  3. We get in touch personally > Within 1 to 3 working days, our Planning & Placement team will contact you by phone to discuss your preferences and answer any questions you may have.

  4. Receive an offer > Can the requested childcare be scheduled right away? Then our planners will contact you and send you a non-binding offer by email. Or you will be placed on the waiting list > If there is no immediate availability on your preferred days, we will make you an offer based on current availability and place you on the waiting list for your preferred days. As soon as a spot becomes available, we will let you know.

  5. Sign the offer > Once you have signed the offer, your child’s placement at our childcare becomes final, and we can officially welcome you to CompaNanny!

What does childcare at CompaNanny cost?

Before choosing a childcare provider, it’s helpful to understand the costs involved. To make it easier for you to calculate your (net) monthly childcare costs, we’ve developed an online calculation tool. On that page, we also explain which services are included in our rates, when you are eligible for childcare allowance, and how to apply for it. This way, you know exactly what to expect, helping you make a well-informed decision.

A good start for you and your child

Is the registration complete and the start date set? Then an important period begins: preparing for your child's first afternoon at CompaNanny.

Introduction: Before your child's first afternoon at the BSO, we invite you both to come and meet us at the location. This way your child can get to know the group, the Pedagogisch Professionals, the space, and everything there is to do. We will also ask you to fill in a digital intake form at home, with questions about your child's character, your family, and what your child needs to settle into a new environment. This helps us prepare well for your child's arrival.

Settling in: Every child settles at their own pace. That is why we like to talk with you about what your child needs for a smooth start at the BSO. For example, we can plan a settling-in afternoon before the start, or keep the first afternoons a bit shorter. This way we make sure the new impressions remain manageable for your child.

Together we keep looking at what works best for your child, so that they can settle into the BSO in a comfortable and familiar way.

“Our son finds it hard to cope with busy activities, especially after a long day at school. It’s great that the staff notice this and discuss with him what he needs.”
