Our quality comes down to our people

We know how important the role of adults is when it comes to the optimum development of a child, and that is why we are very careful when choosing our employees. We carry out a thorough selection process when recruiting pedagogic staff, and this results in us having the best. If a CV and cover letter catches our attention, we ask the applicant to attend at least two rounds of interviews. Then, we ask them to fill out a detailed personal questionnaire, and to provide a Certificate of Good
Conduct (Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag) and two references. Before they sign a contract, which includes a probation period, our prospective Nannies spend one day at a branch. 

Support from a large steadfast team

We have a large, steadfast team that supports all our Nannies. The following professionals are located at each of our branches:

• Branch Manager
• Assistant Branch Manager
• Group Team Leaders
• Pedagogic Coach
• Household Employee.

Frequent pedagogic training

At CompaNanny, we work according to a well thought out and inspiring pedagogic philosophy. We adhere to strict protocols. Our Nannies receive external specialised training in pedagogic fields via (for example) How2Talk2Kids, the Pikler foundation, and the Red Cross for first aid. This takes place, on average, 33 hours per year and ensures they are always kept abreast of the latest developments in the fields of pedagogy and child care.
