How do I register my child at CompaNanny?

There are two options: registration or signing a contract with CompaNanny. Registration at one of our branches is free of charge and without obligations. After you register, we will send you a brochure and invite you to visit one of our branches for a guided tour. You can register your child by clicking on the link and selecting a branch.

If you sign a contract with CompaNanny, this means that your child has a place in a group at the agreed-upon branch and starting date. Whether or not it is possible to sign a contract immediately varies per branch and depends upon availability.

What does registration involve?

Registration means that your child has been signed up at one of our branches, free of charge and without obligations. After you register, we will send you a brochure and invite you to visit one of our branches for a guided tour. One of our Customer Care staff will be in touch with you within five working days to discuss your placement wishes and the options on our side. If there is a waiting list at that time, your registration date will play a role in determining how quickly you are placed.

Can I have a guided tour of the childcare facility?

Absolutely! After you have registered via our website, you can contact the relevant branch.  We ask that you register first in order to ensure the safety and privacy of the children.

I'm on the waiting list, what now?

How long you have to wait for a place for your child depends on various factors, including the desired starting date, the age of your child, the specific day combination requested and how flexible that is, and the departure of other children currently at the branch. Due to these multiple factors, it is difficult to say how long it will take before your child can begin. We will contact you immediately when a place opens up. In general, the fullest days are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Wednesdays and Fridays are less busy, and there are often places available. CompaNanny aims to find a place for as many children as possible.

On what basis does CompaNanny decide if my child can be placed?

Places are assigned based on the order of registration. Some children receive priority in certain situations: for example, the siblings of already-placed children, or an already-placed child who is adding or changing days.

How do I convert my registration into a contract?

This depends upon availability at the relevant branch. After you have registered, Customer Care informs you whether a direct placement is possible or if there is a waiting list. If a direct placement is possible, you can indicate that you would like to convert your registration into a contract. If there is a waiting list, Customer Care will contact you as soon as there is an opportunity for placement.
